LIST OF PARTS

Posted: 29 Aug 2009 - 2:35AM

Hi everyone,
I get so frustrated trying to figure out the colors of parts. I can't tell the difference between the black or dark grey. I've tried to look up the element # on the website but it comes back not available.
I have about 40 sets here of Bionicles. Grandson doesn't live with me so its hard to sort them all out & look for the parts. Mainly because he also has Mars mission & star wars too. Does anyone have a trick to distinguishing the difference between the black /dark grey.
I wish LEGO co. would draw a table around the groups of colors & just write Black ..grey..etc. It's not easy to do this when eyesight isn't the best. Would be great if LEGO would keep the elements available to look @ closer online.

Thanks for any help at all.

That is always hard. Try comparing them with other bricks you know. It's pretty easy to tell them apart if you hold a dark grey brick up next to a black brick.

I get what you mean. The building instructions certianly do not help, because the way they print the black and dark grey elements, they look exactly the same!Tongue Tied
